The AtmosSmart ionization system’s sensor head & controller is intended to be mounted in the return duct or air handler of a heating, cooling, or ventilating system. The sensor typically resides in the main return duct or return plenum to sample indoor air quality coming back from the space being treated by the AtmosAir BPI system.
In addition to air quality measurement and dynamic air treatment, this purification system can be used for demand-controlled ventilation and purification methods to help buildings save energy.

The AtmosSmart ionization system's sensor head and controller is intended to be mounted in the return duct or air handler of a heating, cooling, or ventilation system that is supplying air to the same AHU. The standard unit simplifies monitoring and control of up to 8 AtmosAir air purification systems, using BACnet IP Communication.
